Georges and David, co-founders of SEED Biosciences, had a vision: One Click, One Cell. It is during their PhD years that their vision became a reality. Supervised by their respective mentors, and prestigious professors from EPFL, Prof. Barrandon and Prof. Renaud, they developed the first prototype of DispenCell. A talented pool of creative and resourceful engineers backed up the team every step of the way until SEED Biosciences’ official incorporation in 2018. SEED Biosciences is proudly composed of talented engineers, scientists, sales and marketing experts.

Accumulated accomplishments in developing international markets and driving innovation organically and through partnerships and acquisitions. Collected experience as General Manager/CEO in mid-size private organizations as well as in global public Fortune 500 companies. -

Piero Zucchelli is a successful entrepreneur in the field of lab automation. Piero founded Andrew Alliance, an innovative life sciences robotics company, that he led for 10 years as CEO up to the acquisition from Waters corporation. Before Andrew Alliance, Piero was founder and CTO of SpinX Technologies for 8 years, creating one of the most advanced lab-on-a-chip microfluidics platforms. Prior to that, Piero was a staff member at CERN and INFN, spending 11 years developing particle detectors and co-authoring about 100 scientific publications in particle physics. Piero received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physics for work performed at Stanford University and CERN. He was awarded the international “Tomassoni and Chisesi” prize for a revolutionary invention, the neutrino beta-beam, and is currently a member of the Editorial Board of the SLAS Technology Journal. -

Dr Georges Muller, CEO and cofounder has a PhD in bioengineering from Prof. Barrandon’s Lab at the EPFL. He is an opportunity seeker, a relationship builder and a great communicator. He worked for biomedical startups and he organized the world largest biotech congress (ESACT 2017). He is the recipient of several awards for young entrepreneurs (Venture Leaders, Venture Kick, Venture 2018). -

David Bonzon, CTO and cofounder has a PhD in microengineering from Prof. Renaud’s Lab. David is an endless inventor and a passionate innovator. He was awarded with multiple scientific prizes (best poster at the NanoBiotech Conference 2014, and iCAN’11 International Contest). David is also a serial entrepreneur as he founded his first startup during his studies (Pandora Underwater Equipment SA, UniPix Sàrl).
